Does anyone know how I can synchronize my pocket pc with outlook on Vista? I have 3 different pocket pcs and none of them synchronize. I cant install activesync and sync station doesnt let me sync the contacts. I tried unplugging the device and reconnecting it several times but that did not work. The computer does detects the device. Someone please help.
Thanks, Sol

Synchronization of Contacts with Windows Vista
Which version of Active Sync are you using? Have you tried the ActiveSync 4.2 BETA Preview? http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/downloads/activesync42.mspx -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

ActiveSync isn't usable on Vista I don't think - you have to use the Sync Center which will pop up during the first plug in of your device. If you have any drivers for your PDA's, then plonk them in your CD tray before you plug them in and follow the install steps.

From what I've gathered there's no point in installing Active Sync cuz Sync Center and Windows Mobile Device Center are "supposed" to do the same. But from my personal experience so far. My install of Vista Beta 2 (x64) isn't syncing the contact lists and data from my HP iPaq 2210. and it's kinda annoying.
I tried installing ActiveSync 4.2 Beta, and it basically said not to bother installing cuz of the included software. I hope MS has a quick solution
